  • Dr Jade Sun

    Dr. Jade Sun, who founded Sun Dental in 2013, graduated from Melbourne University in 2007. Dr Jade suffered from dental phobia when she was young after a traumatic experience and is now particularly interested in helping nervous and scared patients overcome their fear, and offers services like dental sedation. She is very popular amongst all our patients, big or small. If Dr. Jade is not in the office, it can be safe to say she is either travelling or attending a coin show, she is an avid collector of Australian decimal coins! Her favourite coin is the 1966 round 50 cent coin.

  • Dr Jeannine Shen

    Dr. Jeannine Shen graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Dental Science with first class honours.

    Jeannine has continued to do postgraduate study with a particular interest in restorative, cosmetic and preventive dentistry. She is extremely passionate about all aspects of dental health and education and strongly believes that prevention is better than cure so that her patients can achieve a healthy smile for life.

    Jeannine understands that a visit to the dentist can be daunting so she always endeavours to help her patients overcome dental anxieties. Her bubbly and caring nature ensures that you will feel relaxed and comfortable during your visit.

    In her spare time Jeannine loves watching movies, spending time with her family and going to the gym.

  • Dr John Khamtanh

    Dr. John Khamtanh graduated from Griffith University (Gold Coast) with a Bachelor of Oral Health in Dental Science, and a Graduate Diploma in Dentistry. He obtained awards for academic excellence, ranking in the top students of his cohort consistently each year. John has continued to do postgraduate study with a particular interest in implant, wisdom teeth removal, surgical extractions and restorative dentistry.

    John’s friendly and caring nature ensures that you will always feel comfortable in the treatment that he provides. He understands that for most people, a visit to the dentist can be daunting so he always strives to make the experience as smooth and pleasant as possible.

    John is also very active outside of the dental world, he owns Gameology, a board game store and plays a range of sports such as basketball and squash

  • Dr Simone Huynh

    Dr. Simone Huynh graduated from Griffith University in 2013. Simone has a passion for delivering a high standard of dental care for her patients in a calm and caring environment.

    She enjoys all aspects of dentistry and has a particular interest in restorative, gum care and children’s dentistry. She is committed to ensuring patients feel comfortable in what can be an unfamiliar environment, providing genuine care, empathy and advice so patients can move forward with their absolute best smile. Simone is continually developing her skills with ongoing education, ensuring her patients always receive the most up-to-date and appropriate care.

    On weekends she enjoys spending time with her family, dog Coco and looking after her terrariums.

  • Dr Huy Thien Do

    Dr. Huy Thien Do graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He has extensive experience working across multiple clinics in metropolitan and regional Victoria and has relocated back from Geelong.

    Huy Thien is a diligent practitioner with great attention to detail. He always ensures that his patients are comfortable and well looked after at the dental clinic. He has helped many people manage and overcome their dental anxieties due to his calm, caring nature and excellent communication skills.

    Huy Thien is also passionate about providing high-quality dental care and frequently involves himself in continuous professional development, keeping up to date with the latest dental innovations and ever honing his clinical skills to provide the best results for his patients.

    He enjoys all aspects of dentistry, with a particular special interest in root canal treatments and restorative dentistry.

    In his spare time, Huy Thien enjoys traveling around Australia and overseas, and dining out with family and friends while also looking for the best matcha latte Melbourne has to offer!

  • Kelli Brushett

    Graduated from Melbourne in 2009 as an Oral Health Therapist after being a Dental Assistant for 22 years. She works predominantly in orthodontics but also loves doing cleans and check-ups too. In her spare time she loves doing jigsaw puzzles, spending time with family and is hoping to get out on the road in a motor home soon!

  • Kapiyah Nazif

    Graduated from the Bachelor of Oral health from The University of Melbourne in 2021.
    Born and raised in New Zealand, but studied in Melbourne. Very much enjoy working with children and creating pleasant dental experiences for all. I have a strong focus on educating and helping people achieve healthy mouths through preventative oral health. In my spare time, I enjoy  spending as much time as I can outdoors and going on nature hikes/walks as well as spending time with family and friend.

  • Alison Lewis

    Alison graduated from Melbourne in 1987 with a Diploma of Applied Science (Dental Therapy) and completed a Graduate Certificate in Advance Clinical Practice from the University of Melbourne. She has worked in both community based and private practice, including a paediatric practice and orthodontics.

    Alison is able to treat all members of the family and has extensive experience in treating children, including those with a dental phobia or special needs. She takes great delight in her patients enjoying the dental experience and leaving with a smile on their face.
    Married to Graeme, mum of Cohen, Mason and Tori, nanna to Penelope. Alison is highly involved with Calisthenics and loves musical theatre.
