CBCT 3D Imaging
CBCT 3D Imaging is a technique using X-rays to take up to 600 3D images from the neck up.
Customers typically stand while the machine performs a single rotation around their head in 10-15 seconds. This allows for 3D visualisation of the teeth, jaws and face, providing dentists with more information to help with precise diagnosis for treatment planning.
A dental CDCT may be used by dentists for a number of purposes:
- dental implant planning
- evaluating abnormal teeth, jaws and face
- assessment of the cleft palate
- diagnosis of cavities, root canals and dental trauma.
